Daniel Marlo is a Managing Partner at 4DX Ventures. Dan works with 4DX portfolio companies to grow revenue, build effective teams, explore corporate development opportunities, develop unique products and establish strategic relationships with financial, technology, and business development partners, in order to rapidly scale businesses. He is passionate about working with talented management teams at companies that are at growth inflection points.
Previously, Dan founded and built large global businesses across fintech, telecom, sports and technology sectors predominantly focused on emerging markets, including as Founder and CEO of Unidos, a leading provider of global financial services products that processed billions of dollars of payments.
Dan also served as a Senior Advisor to Silver Lake, a global technology investment firm. He has also served as an active investor, advisor, director, and consultant to a number of companies in fintech, sports, logistics, e-commerce, healthtech, data, edtech, gaming, marketplace and payments with multiple successful exits.
Dan earned a B.A. from Georgetown University, a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and completed advanced coursework at the Kellogg School of Management.
When not investing, Dan enjoys playing sports, theater, spending time with his family, 8 siblings and friends, poker, reading, and competing in fantasy sports (including the original rotisserie baseball league).
